Densities, self-weight, imposed loads for buildings (British Standard) (1) EN 1991-1-1 gives design guidance and actions for the structural design of buildings and civil engineering works including some geotechnical aspects for the following subjects: - Densities of construction materials and stored materials; - Self. BRITISH STANDARD BS 6399-1: 1996 Incorporating Amendment No. 1 Loading for buildings — Part 1: Code of practice for dead and imposed loads ICS 91.040. This Part of BS 6399 provides dead and minimum recommended imposed loads for use in designing buildings.

Caution

Gives dead and minimum recommended imposed loads for buildings. Applies to new buildings, alterations to existing structures and existing construction on change of use.
