Troop 577 is active in the Kirkland area. Our Troop is chartered by the Lake Washington United Methodist Church on 7525 132nd Ave NE, Kirkland where we meet each Monday night from 7:00PM to 8:30PM
Our Troop is a Scout led. The Scouts plan and lead the Troop and patrol meetings and the Scouts also plan and decide all Scout outings. The Scoutmaster and the Assistant Scoutmasters encourage and help the boys develop their individual and community leadership skills.
Troop 577 stresses personal development using Scouting methods. To this end we have a varied program of outdoor activities that the boys may take advantage of for personal rank advancement, leadership development, and growth.
However, the boys are not required to attend every outing. We recognize that there are conflicts with the available time and extra-curricular school activities.
Welcome to Troop 577 Our Troop is sponsored by Covenant Presbyterian Church in Wichita, Kansas; and is part of the White Buffalo District in Quivira Council. The Troop started in the spring of 2012, and has firmly established itself as a solid, contributing organization; both in scouting and in our community. Scouts BSA Troop 577, Greensburg, Indiana. Typically there is a single monthly theme for the Monday night meetings with Advancement Night scheduled once a month.
In addition there is an active outdoor program which includes day hikes, overnight camping trips both car camps and backpacking, bike hikes, and water sports.

The membership ranges between 25 and 40 scouts and since the founding of the troop in 1987, 35 scouts have reached the rank of Eagle.
